2-Day Professional Development Program on Advancing Teaching & Learning Practices | 25–26 September 2025
University of Rawalpindi organized a 2-Day Professional Development Program on Advancing Teaching & Learning Practices from 25th to 26th September 2025, aimed at equipping faculty members with modern pedagogical tools and innovative instructional approaches.
Program began with a welcome address by Rector Dr. Muhammad Abubakar, who emphasized UOR’s vision of continuous faculty development and excellence in higher education. He highlighted the importance of aligning teaching practices with evolving global standards and fostering a learning environment centered on creativity, reflection, and student engagement.
Led by distinguished educators , Dr. Amad Ud Din, Dr. Nadeem F. Malik, Dr. Shaheryar Naveed, and Dr. Shoaib, the sessions covered a wide range of topics including Objective-Based Course Designing, Alignment of CLOs and ILOs, Module Planning, Student-Centric Learning Approaches, Classroom Management, Teaching Methods & Evaluation Skills, and AI for Teachers.
Throughout the two days, faculty members actively participated in discussions, hands-on exercises, and experience-sharing sessions that encouraged reflective teaching and collaboration. The event concluded with a Closing Ceremony, recognizing the enthusiasm and contributions of participants.
