Rector Dr. Muhammad Abubakar met the Global Horizons cohort to reflect on learning, recognise achievements, and set next-step projects for the coming term. The interactive debrief session provided students with an opportunity to share their experiences, highlight the program’s impact on their academic and personal growth, and offer constructive feedback for future iterations.
Students spoke about how the program expanded their perspective on international learning, improved their communication and problem-solving skills, and helped them connect theory with real-world contexts. They also highlighted logistical strengths and shared suggestions for making future editions even more impactful.
Dr. Abubakar appreciated the students’ active participation and acknowledged their efforts in representing UOR through the Global Horizons Program. He encouraged them to continue applying their learning to real-world contexts and to take initiative in upcoming collaborative projects.
The session concluded with an open discussion on enhancing global exposure opportunities, aligning future activities with UOR’s vision for experiential and internationally connected education.
