University of Rawalpindi organized a special academic session titled “Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah: From the Struggle for Muslim Rights to the Muslim State” in commemoration of 25th December, the birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, as part of the course Ideology and Constitution of Pakistan. The session was delivered by Guest Professor Dr. Syed Akmal Hussain Shah Sahib, who presented an insightful and scholarly analysis of Quaid-i-Azam’s political journey and constitutional vision.
Dr. Shah elaborated on Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s transformation from a constitutional advocate of Muslim rights in British India to the founder of an independent Muslim state. The lecture emphasized Jinnah’s firm belief in constitutionalism, democratic values, rule of law, and the safeguarding of minority and religious rights.
The session provided students with an opportunity to reflect on the ideological foundations of Pakistan and the enduring relevance of Quaid-i-Azam’s leadership. The event concluded with an engaging discussion, making it a meaningful academic tribute to the Father of the Nation on his birth anniversary.
