The Office of Student Affairs, University of Rawalpindi, organized a recreational and nature exploration one-day trip to the Ayubia Pipeline Track, Donga Gali, on 27th December 2025. A strong and active group of students participated in the trip, accompanied by faculty and staff members to ensure effective supervision, coordination, and student support throughout the journey.
The trip aimed to promote student well-being, peer interaction, and engagement beyond the classroom by providing students with an opportunity to reconnect with nature in a safe and structured environment. Activities during the visit included nature exploration, team-based interactions, and photography, allowing participants to engage meaningfully with the natural surroundings.
Despite the chilly weather, students demonstrated high levels of enthusiasm and collective energy, contributing to a positive and vibrant atmosphere throughout the trip. Thoughtfully arranged meals further enhanced the experience, with the starter soup at lunch providing warmth and comfort. Tea served in the open air, surrounded by mountains and trees, emerged as a particularly memorable moment for participants.
The activity contributed to improved student morale, stronger peer bonding, and increased engagement, offering a refreshing break from academic routines. The successful execution of the trip reflected the effective planning and coordination by the Office of Student Affairs, supported by the active involvement of faculty and staff members.
University of Rawalpindi continues to support co-curricular initiatives that contribute to students’ holistic development, wellbeing, and campus life experience.
