UOR Co-hosts the 5th International Conference on Dermal Sciences (ICDS 2026)
University of Rawalpindi (UOR) co-hosted the 5th International Conference on Dermal Sciences (ICDS 2026) under the theme “Skin Care and Wound Management.” The conference brought together over 50 international clinicians, researchers, and academicians from multiple countries to explore advancements in regenerative medicine and wound care.
The inaugural session featured keynote addresses by leading experts, covering key areas such as pediatric wound surgery, regenerative medicine, and the biological mechanisms of wound healing. The conference provided a platform for knowledge exchange and academic collaboration, with participation from senior leadership of the The University of Faisalabad (TUF), faculty members, and a large student audience.
The scientific sessions included diverse presentations on burn management, grafting techniques, stem cell therapy, PRP applications, herbal wound care, and emergency response. The event highlighted emerging global practices in dermal sciences and reinforced UOR’s commitment to academic engagement, research collaboration, and innovation in healthcare sciences.
