University of Rawalpindi (UOR) proudly co-hosted and participated in Innovative Pakistan 2026, the country’s premier national student innovation platform, held at The University of Faisalabad in collaboration with higher education institutions from across Pakistan. The event brought together students, researchers, innovators, industry representatives, and academic leaders to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration.
The expo featured participation from more than 50 universities and showcased over 1,000 student projects, making it one of Pakistan’s largest national platforms for student innovation. Designed to foster a research-driven and future-ready generation, the event provided young innovators with opportunities to present their ideas to industry experts, academicians, and potential investors while exploring pathways for commercialization and real-world impact.
Representing UOR at the event, Dr. Fahim Arif (Head of Department, Computing and Intelligent Systems) led the university delegation. UOR also showcased three projects from the Department of Computing and Intelligent Systems, highlighting students’ creativity, technical expertise, and innovative thinking in emerging fields of technology and intelligent systems. The projects demonstrated the university’s growing emphasis on applied research and solution-oriented learning.
As a co-hosting institution, UOR contributed to the success of a national platform dedicated to advancing innovation and entrepreneurship in Pakistan. The university’s involvement reflects its continued commitment to fostering research excellence, strengthening industry-academia linkages, and empowering students to contribute meaningfully to the country’s technological and economic development.
