Students of University of Rawalpindi recently had the thrilling opportunity to explore Mushkpuri, “a place of quietness and peace”, nestled in the Nathia Gali Hills of KPK. As the second-highest peak in the Galyat region, Mushkpuri stands at 2,800 meters, offering panoramic views and an escape into nature's untouched beauty.
The journey began with a moderate 4-kilometer hike, a steady ascent through a landscape painted with fragmented wildflowers and dense, lush forests. For those seeking a different experience, horse rides from Dunga Gali Bazaar provided an equally enchanting route to the summit. The trail itself was nothing short of breathtaking - each step bringing students closer to the mesmerizing sights that refresh both mind and soul.
At the top, the view was the true reward. Calm, soothing, and infinite. As Albert Einstein once said, “Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
This trip not only brought adventure but also a deeper connection with nature and with one another. This unforgettable experience is just one of the many ways, University of Rawalpindi encourages its students to explore, learn, and grow beyond the classroom.
